Ron Gjerde

Vice President, Education at Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM)

Ron Gjerde is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in education, organizational development, and consulting. Currently serving as the Vice President of Education at the Institute of Real Estate Management since 2008, Ron Gjerde has been pivotal in enhancing property management education. Prior to this role, Ron held various leadership positions, including Vice President of Organizational Development at Equity Residential and Vice President of Everen University at Everen Securities. Additional experience includes working as a Senior Project Manager at the Chicago Manufacturing Center and serving as Senior Vice President at the Illinois World Trade Center Association. Ron Gjerde holds a Doctor of Law degree from the University of Illinois College of Law and a Bachelor of Science degree from Illinois State University, and presently enjoys consulting and part-time work while indulging in personal interests since retirement in 2018.
