Innocent Itobore has a diverse work experience in various companies and roles. Innocent began their career at Bank PHB PLC. as a Business Relationship Officer, where they were responsible for driving deposit generation, growing international trade transactions, managing investment portfolios and relationships, and overseeing loan monitoring and recovery. Innocent also managed public sector accounts, including the collections of port concession payments and coordination of severance benefits. Additionally, Innocent Itobore handled the relationship management of high-net-worth individual accounts.

Innocent then joined AXA Mansard Insurance as a Direct Sales Manager before moving on to X-GO Finance Limited as the Head of Business Development and Payday Loan. Innocent'snext role was at CRC Credit Bureau Limited (In Association with Dun & Brad Street) as the Head of New Business & Relationship Management.

Currently, Innocent Itobore is working at Interswitch Group. Innocent started as the Head of Interswitch Lending Services, and as of April 2021, they became the Group Head of Interswitch Lending Services & Data Services. Innocent holds an MBA, PGD, B.ED, and is a certified SAFe® 5 Agilist.

Innocent Itobore has a strong education history with degrees and certifications in business administration, management studies, and economics. Innocent obtained a Master's degree in Business Administration from the University of South Wales starting in 2015. Prior to that, they completed a Post Graduate Diploma in Management Studies at Ladoke Akintola University of Technology from 2006 to 2008. Innocent'sundergraduate degree is a BSC in Economics from the University of Calabar from 2002 to 2006.
