Dr. Ding is a Melbourne-based gastroenterologist and Associate Professor at St. Vincent’s Hospital where he is the lead gastroenterologist for the National Bowel Cancer Program. His areas of expertise include bowel cancer screening, irritable bowel disease, and gastro-esophageal reflux disease. He is a member of both the Human Research Ethics Committee (AUS) and the European Crohn’s and Colitis Organization. He is also the founding member of the Young Australian Crohn’s and Colitis Network. His research has been supported through the National Health and Medical Research Council (NHMRC) as well as the European Crohn’s and Colitis Organization. In addition, He is co-founder and director of a medical healthcare company, Medcompanion.com.au that is aimed at improving patient care with bowel preparation instructions for colonoscopy.
