Rehan Ahmed

Rehan Ahmed is an accomplished finance professional with extensive experience in debt capital markets across various regions, including the Middle East, Africa, Asia, and Turkey. Currently serving as Managing Director and Head of MEAAT DCM at Intesa Sanpaolo since June 2022, Rehan has previously held significant positions at Emirates NBD Capital, leading bond and Sukuk origination, and at HSBC, managing the Islamic debt capital markets origination team in Asia Pacific. Rehan's background also includes product development roles at BNP Paribas and a legal career prior to entering finance. Rehan holds an LLB (Hons) from the University of Leicester, a Chartered Islamic Finance Professional designation from INCEIF University, and a Postgraduate Certificate in Legal Practice from The University of Law.
