Steve Daly

Steve Daly is a Mechanical Design Engineer with extensive experience in designing and engineering various technologies spanning over two decades. Currently employed at Intevac since February 2020, Steve previously held senior mechanical design positions at Velo3D and MiaSolé, specializing in advanced manufacturing techniques. Earlier roles included mechanical design engineering at Nanosys and Solyndra, where Steve contributed to the design of equipment for LED display components and solar panel manufacturing. Additional experience was gained at Intevac Inc. in developing PVD and etch equipment for magnetic disks and semiconductor wafers, as well as at Photon Dynamics and Ultracision, Inc. Steve holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from San Diego State University, earned between 1980 and 1983.
