Scott Estes has a diverse work experience in the engineering field. Scott started their career at John Deere in 1999 as a Senior Software Engineer and worked there until 2006. Scott then joined the John Deere Engineering Center and served as a Senior Software Engineer until 2012. In 2013, they worked at Oshkosh Defense as a Senior System Engineer. From 2014 to 2014, they returned to John Deere as a Senior Software Engineer. In 2015, they became the President of BEAM Innovations and also worked as a Senior Software Engineer on the CSX Railroad Robotic Shuttle Project. Since 2018, they have been working at Intoxalock as a Senior Engineer. Throughout their career, they have gained experience in areas such as software design, autonomous vehicles, and mobile controllers.
Scott Estes completed their AAS in Aviation from Indian Hills Community College in 1992. Scott then went on to pursue a degree in BAS Computer Science from Mount Mercy University, which they completed in 1994.
