Anuradha Balasubramanian, P.hD, EMBA, currently serves as Senior Scientist in Process Development Downstream at Precigen since February 2023. With extensive experience in downstream process development, Anuradha has held key roles at Catalent Pharma Solutions as Process Development Manager and Senior Scientist, ABL Inc. as Staff Scientist, and Vigene Biosciences as Scientist in process development and GMP production. Anuradha's expertise includes purifying AAV using techniques such as depth filtration and affinity chromatography, as well as conducting various analytical assays. Previous roles include Postdoctoral Fellow and Project Coordinator at the National Cancer Institute, and Postdoctoral Researcher at Georgetown University, focusing on cell division chaperones and the role of autophagy in Zika virus infection, respectively. Anuradha holds an Executive MBA from Quantic School of Business and Technology, a PhD in Crystallography and Biophysics from the University of Madras, and a Master's degree in Industrial Biotechnology from Bharathiar University.
