Jim Wolf has over 40 years of work experience in various roles related to fire management and mitigation. Jim began their career in 1976 with the Oregon Dept of Forestry, where they worked in forest management, fire planning, and analysis. Jim held positions such as Fire Program Analyst, Protection Unit Forester, and Forest Practices Forester. From 1985 to 1995, Jim served as the ODF Protection Unit Forester for the Clatsop County Firefighters Association. In 1995, they became an Associate Pastor for the New Song Community Church, where they primarily focused on the worship ministry and the church's financial needs. In 2005, Jim started their own consulting business, James A Wolf, where they provided technical and collaborative solutions for wildfire mitigation and management. Jim also had experience with Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and was licensed for various software programs. In 2014, Jim joined Intterra Group as the Wildfire Operations Chief/Program Manager, overseeing the deployment of the company's Situation Analyst product. Jim handled project management, marketing, and operations technical support.
Jim Wolf attended Oregon State University from 1973 to 1978, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Forest Management.
