Alex Balazs has extensive experience in technology leadership, primarily at Intuit since October 1999, where currently serves as Chief Technology Officer. In this role, Alex defines and implements technology strategy, leading global teams in product development, data science, information technology, and information security. Previous positions at Intuit include Senior Vice President of Data Engineering and Senior Vice President and Chief Architect of the Consumer Tax Group, where Alex was responsible for leading technology innovation for the TurboTax product portfolio. Additionally, Alex serves on the Executive Advisory Board for Tech Women @ Intuit, focusing on empowering women in technology, and holds advisory roles at the Rochester Institute of Technology and as a Board Member at RevWork Inc. Alex's early career includes software engineering roles at Light Lab Imaging and ZEISS Medical Technology. Alex holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Kettering University.
