Kamal Kapila

Kamal Kapila is an experienced technology leader with a strong background in business applications and IT management. Currently serving as Senior Director of Business Applications at Intuitive, Kamal has previously held significant roles at Gilead Sciences, where responsibilities included Senior Director of IT G&A / Corporate Functions and Head of Legal & Compliance IT. Additionally, at Roche, Kamal was the Global Head of Enterprise Collaboration, Mobility & Custom Applications. Prior to that, Kamal worked at Genentech in several capacities, including Senior Manager of Product Development for Clinical, Research & Early Development IT, as well as Senior IT Project Manager and Manager of IT. Kamal started a career at Johnson & Johnson PRD as a Senior Software Engineer. Educationally, Kamal holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical Engineering from McGill University and is set to attend Stanford University Graduate School of Business for an executive program in early 2024.
