Sanjeev Dutta

Sanjeev Dutta, MD MBA, currently serves as Vice President and Business Leader for Intuitive Fluorescence Imaging, overseeing the development, commercialization, and management of the fluorescence imaging portfolio since February 2020. Additionally, Sanjeev is an active member of the Intuitive Ventures Investment Committee and the Digital/Data Strategy Executive Leadership Committee, as well as a board member for Orpheus Medical. Prior to this, Sanjeev held notable positions at Johnson & Johnson, including Vice President of Medical Devices, where responsibilities encompassed defining corporate innovation strategies and leading partnerships in robotics and advanced imaging. Sanjeev's extensive background also includes advisory roles at DocMatter and Social+Capital Partnership, an attending surgeon position at Lucile Packard Children's Hospital specializing in minimally invasive surgery, and academic work as an Associate Professor of Surgery at Stanford University School of Medicine. Educational credentials include an MBA from Stanford University, a Level 2 Sommelier Certification, and multiple medical degrees and fellowships from esteemed institutions.
