Valerie Schiebel

Valerie Schiebel is a Senior Human Factors Engineer at Intuitive, where responsibilities include leading Human Factors activities for various projects, conducting early concept research, and performing risk analyses related to user workflows. Prior experience includes a role as Senior Human Factors Design Engineer at Medtronic, where Valerie managed a team, created user experience test schedules, and collaborated with healthcare professionals to ensure product intuitiveness. Previously, at Smiths Medical, Valerie held multiple roles from Human Factors Engineer I to II, focusing on creating Human Factors Engineering Plans and conducting formative evaluations. Valerie holds a Master of Science in Human Factors in Information Design from Bentley University and a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from the University of Wisconsin–Oshkosh.
