Emma Derr is an accomplished communications professional with extensive experience in various roles across multiple organizations. Currently serving as Communications Manager at Invariant since March 2023, Emma previously held positions at the Nuclear Energy Institute, where contributions as Digital and Executive Communications Manager and External Communications Specialist were significant from May 2021 to March 2023. Emma's earlier experience includes serving as Max Kampelman Communications Fellow at the U.S. Commission on Security and Cooperation in Europe and various journalistic roles at Ring-Tum Phi, Bush Radio, and the Rockbridge Report. Educationally, Emma holds a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from Washington and Lee University, attended from 2016 to 2020, and completed secondary education at Ursuline Academy Wilmington, DE, from 2012 to 2016.
