Karen Lessick

Karen Lessick currently serves as the Senior Vice President and Deputy General Counsel at Invenergy, a position held since June 2018, following roles as Vice President and Associate General Counsel. In this capacity, Karen provides strategic legal advice focusing on real estate interests related to energy generation and storage, while managing relationships with external legal counsel and internal stakeholders. Prior experience includes serving as Assistant General Counsel at Angelina & Herrick, P.C., where Karen led numerous real estate transactions, and as a Contract Attorney at JPMorgan Chase, where significant cost savings were achieved through contract compliance. Karen's legal career began with a Civil Rights Fellowship at the Chicago Lawyers' Committee for Civil Rights, complemented by roles in various legal capacities during law school, including a student externship with the Michigan Office of the Attorney General. Educational credentials include a Juris Doctor from Cooley Law School and a Bachelor of Arts in Music from the State University of New York at Fredonia.
