Paul Abitante

Paul Abitante is an experienced executive in the energy industry, currently serving as Executive Vice President of International Development at Invenergy LLC since January 2014. Abitante has held various positions at Invenergy, including Senior Vice President and Mexico Country Manager, where responsibilities included developing thermal power and renewable energy projects in Mexico. Prior to Invenergy, Abitante held senior roles at Aurora Algae, BP Products NA, and BP Alternative Energy, focusing on business development, project management, and strategic initiatives. Early career experiences include positions at Northern Star Natural Gas and El Paso Energy, as well as technical roles at Westinghouse Electric Company and Energy Storage & Power Consultants. Abitante holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Manhattan University.
