David Pound

David Pound has extensive experience in technology leadership within the financial services sector, currently serving as Platform Owner for Core Banking at Investec since 2018, where responsibilities include heading Client & Account Platforms and Lending Technology. Prior to this, David held key roles at Barclays UK as CIO for Business Banking & Lending and at Barclays Wealth Management as Director of IT. Additionally, David's background includes significant positions at Citi, JP Morgan, HSBC, Merrill Lynch, UBS, Jardine Fleming, and Thomson Reuters, where expertise in technology management and project leadership has been consistently demonstrated. David holds an MSc in Astrophysics from Queen Mary University of London and a BSc in Physics from the University of Bristol.
