Jēkabs Groskaufmanis serves as the Head of the Netherlands Office at the Investment and Development Agency of Latvia and simultaneously holds the position of Counsellor of Economic and Commercial Affairs at the Embassy of Latvia in the Netherlands since 2021. Prior to these roles, Jēkabs worked at Latvijas Mobilais Telefons SIA in Business Development & Innovations from 2019 to 2021 and contributed to the Ministry of Economics focusing on Innovation Policy & Foreign Direct Investments in 2018-2019. Jēkabs gained experience in Research & Consulting at Nielsen in 2017 and was involved in Business Development & Client Relationships at Inspired Latvia from 2011 to 2016. Jēkabs holds a Master of Science in Business Administration from Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University, and has participated as an MBA exchange student at Schulich School of Business - York University. Additionally, Jēkabs earned a Bachelor of Science in Communication from Latvijas Universitate.
