Simran Hassan has a varied work experience that spans several industries and roles. Simran most recently worked as a Venture Capital Intern at OK Capital starting in 2023. Prior to that, they held multiple positions at Baruch Investment Management Group, including TMT Director and TMT Analyst. Simran also participated in the Financial Leadership Program at Baruch College and worked as a Bridge Coach at CUNY K16 Initiatives.
In terms of their education, Simran served as the Student Representative for Macaulay Scholars Council at Macaulay Honors College at The City University of New York. Simran was also a Tutor starting in 2020 and worked as a Library Page at Queens Borough Public Library.
Simran's leadership abilities were recognized during their time at the National Honor Society, where they served as the President and was a Member.
Simran Hassan began their education at Forest Hills High School, where they completed their high school diploma from 2019 to 2022. Following this, they attended both Baruch College and Macaulay Honors College at The City University of New York from 2022 to 2026. Simran pursued a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree with a focus on Finance, General at both institutions.

The Investment Management Group (IMG) is a group of talented undergraduate students at Baruch College who manage a portfolio of stocks spanning across a variety of sectors. We seek to provide active members with technical knowledge, financial know-how and leadership abilities by entrusting a considerable degree of responsibility to each team member. We work with students who are passionate about the financial services industry and are looking to take their interest to a new level. The Investment Management Group began at Baruch College in the summer of 2010. Our group caters to students who are looking to launch their career in the financial services industry. We strive to develop our members' abilities and potential to succeed in the professional world by connecting our team members to powerful resources that will help them exceed the highest of employer expectations.
