Mrinalini Krishna is the Senior Editor of investing news at Investopedia. She is passionate about creating content that cuts through complex jargon and gives readers the information they can use.

Mrinalini’s journalism career spans more than a decade across two continents in television, print, and digital newsrooms. She began as a business television reporter for CNBC TV18 in India, working on breaking news, reporting on stock markets and economic policy, and producing television shows on investor education. Her stories have also been featured in numerous Indian financial newspapers such as The Economic Times, Business Standard, and Mint.

Previously, she was a reporter for Financial Advisor IQ, a Financial Times publication geared toward financial advisors and wealth managers. Her other experience includes working on the Forbes’ flagship 400 Richest Americans list in 2016, and serving as the investing editor for The Balance.

Mrinalini Krishna received her Bachelor of Arts with honors in economics from the University of Delhi. She holds a Master of Arts degree in mass communication, specializing in journalism, from the Symbiosis Institute of Media and Communication. She also earned a Master of Arts in business and economic reporting from New York University.
