Laura Pritchard

Laura Pritchard is an experienced professional in the textile industry, currently serving as the Fabric Technology Leader and previously as an Engineering Specialist at INVISTA since April 2017. Prior to this role, Laura held several positions at Newtex from May 2007 to April 2017, including Technical Director, where responsibilities encompassed overseeing Development and Quality Control teams and leading R&D efforts in various sectors such as fire service and aerospace. As Technical Services Manager, Laura managed full product development cycles and conducted laboratory testing. Earlier experience at Barrday Inc. involved designing and commercializing new textile products and generating intellectual property. Additionally, an early career role at Hafner Inc. focused on enhancing product quality through data analysis. Laura holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from Dalhousie University and a Certificate in Textile Management from the Textile Management Internship Program.
