Douglas Smith is currently working as an Associate Principal Scientist at InVitro Cell Research, LLC, focusing on immunotherapy, cancer vaccines, iPSC-based dendritic cell vaccines, and immunologic monitoring. With extensive experience in immunology, Douglas previously served as the Director of Immunology at BlueWillow Biologics Inc. and held various positions at Aastrom Biosciences, University of Michigan, The University of Chicago, and Yale University. Their research background includes developing vaccines, characterization of nanoemulsions, and immunologic monitoring for cancer prevention and early detection. Douglas holds a PhD in Immunology from the University of Chicago and a Bachelor of Science in Microbiology and Immunology from McGill University.
