InVue
David Berglund began their work experience in 2001 as a Senior Product Engineer at SailStar USA. David then moved on to Eco2 Plastics in 2006, where they worked as a Project Engineer, designing and constructing an environmentally friendly plastics recycling plant.
In 2007, Berglund joined Enventys as a Senior Engineer before transitioning to InVue in 2008 as a Project Engineer. During their time at InVue, they held multiple roles including Inventor-Mechanical Engineer and Senior Inventor-Mechanical Engineering. David focused on inventing and integrating new technology into retail security products, proving the viability of revolutionary product concepts, and developing innovative designs and functional electromechanical prototypes.
Some notable accomplishments during their tenure at InVue include inventing the T1000 Push Button Dispenser and developing an inductively powered lock mechanism that reduced costs by 4X and size by 2X, subsequently becoming the core technology in four of InVue's product lines.
David Berglund attended Edmonds College from 1988 to 1990, where they studied Aviation Maintenance Technology. David then went on to the University of Washington from 1991 to 1995, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering.
