Finally, Inez Wathion joined IBA, where they have held the role of Validation and Verification Associate (QA), being responsible for the quality aspects of Proton Therapy Installation and Customer Service phases. Over the years, they took on additional responsibilities and became the Head of QA product release, overseeing regulatory compliance, managing a team of engineers, planning and overseeing quality audits, and training new employees in QMS.
Throughout their career, they have worked on projects in multiple EU countries, the USA, and Russia.
Inez Wathion has an education history that includes a BA in Engineering with a focus on Electronics & Information Technology from Vrije Universiteit Brussel, obtained between 2004 and 2007. Inez also has two MA degrees in Engineering with a specialization in Biomedical Engineering, one from Ghent University and another from Vrije Universiteit Brussel, both obtained between 2007 and 2009. Additionally, they obtained a certification as an Internal Auditor for ISO 13485 from BSI in 2012.
