Brett Ruffell

Brett Ruffell currently serves as the Head of HR at IONATE since February 2024. Prior to this role, Brett held several positions at Grip from September 2021 to February 2024, including Head of People, People Manager, and People Advisor. Brett's experience also includes working with the United Nations as an Online Volunteer Translator specializing in criminal law and human rights from July 2011 to March 2022, as well as translating the SDG 16 Toolkit on Youth, Peace, and Volunteerism. In 2021, Brett was the HR, People and Talent Coordinator at Enara Bio, collaborating on project development with the HR Director. From March 2017 to March 2021, Brett managed one of the UK's highest turnover stores at The Body Shop, overseeing sales, service, and staff management, and previously held the position of Flagship Operations Manager. Brett holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Spanish Translation from the University of Westminster and a high school diploma in Romance Languages from Colchester Sixth Form College.
