Wen Lin Tan

Wen Lin Tan is a Senior Physicist at IonQ since May 2021, specializing in quantum information technologies. Prior to this role, Wen Lin Tan served as a Graduate Research Assistant at Trapped Ion Quantum Information at JQI and the University of Maryland from August 2016 to May 2021, where responsibilities included designing a cryogenic trapped-ion system and developing data analysis protocols. Earlier experience includes working as a Research Assistant at the University of Washington from March 2014 to July 2016, focusing on laser optics systems for ion trapping. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Physics from the University of Maryland (2016-2021) and a BS in Physics and Applied Math from the University of Washington (2012-2016).
