Susan Fenton

Susan Fenton has a robust background in government relations and policy advocacy, currently serving as the Legislative Liaison for the Iowa Department of Transportation since December 2017. Previously, Fenton was the Vice President of Government Affairs at LS2group from January 2012 to November 2017, where responsibilities included directing government relations and lobbying on various issues such as economic development, education, and health care. Prior to that role, Fenton served as Legislative Liaison for the Iowa Secretary of Agriculture from 2007 to 2011, assisting with policy development and communications. Earlier in the career, Fenton was the Chief of Staff for the Majority Leader of the Iowa House of Representatives from 2002 to 2006. Fenton holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Political Science and Government from Drake University and attended Simpson College.
