Jan K.

Jan K. has worked in a variety of roles in the IT and telecommunications industries since 1992. Starting as a technician and journalist for Česká televize, Jan K. then moved to CHIP as an IT & telco journalist in 1994. In 1999, Jan K. worked as a technical support for Telecomspol and a planning and optimization engineer for T-Mobile Czech Republic. In 2005, Jan K. became a system architect for JSC SITRONICS. From 2009 to 2010, Jan K. worked as a software engineer for Tekelec. From 2010 to 2020, Jan K. was a senior software engineer for Skype/Microsoft, where they worked on MS Teams localization framework, MS Teams UI, Skype for web UI, Skype web browser plugin testing framework, and Skype backend microservices testing tool. Most recently, Jan K. has been a JS full-stack software developer for Windy since 2020, and a backend software developer for IP Fabric since 2021.

Jan K. graduated from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering at Czech Technical University in Prague in 1999 with a degree in Telekomunikační technika and the title of Inženýr (Ing.). In 2012, Jan K. obtained a Certified Scrum Master certification from the Scrum Alliance. In 2015, Jan K. also obtained Vyhláška 50/1978 Sb. §6 a §77 from Reskel.cz.
