Tanya O'Dea has extensive experience in policy development and information management, currently serving as an Acting Senior Policy Officer at Transport for NSW since March 2014, focusing on Safe and Sustainable Boating in the Centre for Maritime Safety. Tanya has held various positions within the Information and Privacy Commission NSW, specializing in the Government Information (Public Access) Act 2009. In addition, Tanya's involvement with the Institute of Public Administration Australia and the Right to Information/Privacy Practitioners Network demonstrates a commitment to public sector engagement and information transparency. Tanya's educational background includes a Master of Commerce from The University of Sydney Business School and a Certificate IV in Business from TAFE NSW, along with additional qualifications in secretarial studies and court reporting.
