Trudi Mares serves as the Deputy Secretary Greater Sydney at Transport for NSW, overseeing transport operations and planning for the Greater Sydney area, which serves over five million residents. With extensive experience in human resources and corporate services, Trudi has held various significant positions, including Deputy Secretary Corporate Services and General Manager Human Resources at Roads and Maritime Services, where leadership of critical HR strategies and services for thousands of employees was undertaken. Trudi is also active in governance roles, currently serving as a Board Director for the Public Transport Association Australia New Zealand and a Co-opted Councillor for IPAA NSW. Educational qualifications include an MBA from the University of Newcastle and completion of the Company Directors Course at the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
