Cecilia Espinoza

Cecilia Espinoza Palacios is a seasoned advocate with extensive experience in reproductive rights and youth programming, currently serving as a Senior Advocacy Advisor in the Technical Innovation and Evidence Department at Ipas since July 2011. In this role, Cecilia conceptualizes and implements global advocacy strategies while engaging with partner organizations to influence international initiatives. Previously, Cecilia held positions at Ipas as Senior Youth Advisor and Youth Advisor, and worked with Oxfam as a Youth Program Officer, managing projects and providing technical assistance to youth-led organizations. Additional experience includes roles at UNDP as a Junior Researcher focusing on youth engagement in human development, and consulting for CANTERA on HIV/AIDS education for adolescents. Cecilia holds a Master's degree in Gender and Development from Universidad Centroamericana and a Bachelor's degree in Social Work from the same institution.
