IPDAL

The Institute for the Promotion of Latin America and the Caribbean (IPDAL) was created in 2006 with the aim of strengthening business and academic relations between Latin American and Caribbean countries and Portugal. IPDAL is a private institution with economic diplomacy at its chore. We support Portuguese companies interested in entering the Latin American and Caribbean market and promote Portuguese internationalization. IPDAL holds business forums and work missions to countries in South, Central and North America (Mexico) and the Caribbean, mediating and developing privileged contacts with ambassadors and establishing cooperation agreements. IPDAL's main objectives are: - To bring Portugal and Latin America and the Caribbean closer together through economic diplomacy; - Increase trade between the two regions; - Promote Latin America in Portugal and Portugal in Latin America; - Organize meetings, courses, conferences, trips and round tables on Latin America; - Facilitating contacts between Latin American interests and Portugal, and vice versa, by offering support services for initiatives and movements towards closer ties.
