Martin Elbs has a diverse work experience in the automotive industry. Martin started their career at ETAS in 2004, where they held the position of Director of Strategic Marketing until 2008. Martin then became the Vice President of Sales for Europe at ETAS until 2011. Following that, they worked at Lotus Engineering from 2011 to 2014, first as the Head of Sales and then as the Global Head of Commercial. Currently, they are employed at IPG Automotive, where they have held various senior roles since 2015, including General Manager of Business Development and currently serves as the Senior Vice President and Chief Commercial Officer.
Martin Elbs holds an MBA degree in Executive Management from the University of Michigan - Stephen M. Ross School of Business, which they obtained from 2001 to 2003. Prior to that, they pursued a degree in Elektrotechnik (Electrical Engineering) from the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) between 1989 and 1995. Their education history also includes completing their Abitur (German high school diploma) from Gymnasium Neckargemünd from 1978 to 1987.
