Adam Pinard has held various roles in electrical and software engineering throughout their career. Adam started as an Electrical Engineer at Optronics Div of Intergraph in 1989 and then worked as an Electrical Engineer at Sky Computers in 1996. In 1998, they became an Electrical Engineering Manager at Creo and held this position until 2004 when they joined GSI Group as an Electrical/Software Engineering Manager. From 2009 to 2011, they worked as an Electrical Engineering Manager at Cambridge Technology. Currently, they are the Director of Electrical and Software Engineering at IPG Photonics, where they have been employed since 2011.
Adam Pinard holds a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Massachusetts Lowell. Adam also obtained a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Massachusetts Amherst.
