Erica Sánchez Gomariz

Erica Sánchez Gomariz is a software and application engineer at iPronics Programmable Photonics, where responsibilities include developing advanced photonic libraries and automating optical processors' configuration processes since May 2023. Prior to this, Erica served as a PhD student and research assistant at Universitat Politècnica de València, focusing on integrated photonics and the design of a universal MWP programmable signal processor from December 2017 to January 2024. Earlier experiences include an internship in the area of signal theory and communications at Universidad Miguel Hernández de Elche, where Erica developed a Matlab interface for ultrasound measurement systems, and an internship at the Institute of Bioengineering, collaborating with the Biomedical Neuroengineering Unit on various projects. Erica holds a PhD in Telecommunications, Photonics from Universitat Politècnica de València, a Master's Degree in Telecommunication Technologies, Systems and Networks, and a Bachelor's in Telecommunications Technology Engineering from Universidad Miguel Hernández de Elche.
