Mari Scheiffele

Mari Scheiffele currently serves as President International at Ipsen since November 2021. Prior to this role, Mari held various leadership positions at Novartis, including General Manager for the UK & Ireland, where responsibilities encompassed Solid Tumors, Hematology, and Rare Therapies. In a previous capacity as Global Head of Strategy, Mari developed a 10-year oncology strategy and managed strategic projects and competitive intelligence. Mari also led the Ophthalmology and Specialty Care Business in Japan, overseeing a portfolio with P&L responsibility exceeding 700 million USD. Early career experience includes serving as Global Head of Pharma Strategy and Principal at McKinsey & Company, focusing on healthcare corporate finance and pharmaceutical launches. Mari holds a PhD in Biological and Biomedical Sciences from Harvard Medical School and an AB in Biochemical Sciences from Harvard University.
