Sam Howland

Sam Howland has extensive experience in communications and patient affairs, currently serving as the Head of Communications for Ipsen in the UK and Ireland since February 2021. Prior to this role, Sam held various positions at OPEN Health Patient & Brand Communications from May 2018 to February 2021, including Account Director and Senior Account Manager. Sam also worked at 9 Yards Creative Ltd as a Senior Account Manager from March 2011 to May 2018, contributing to the agency's focus on digital solutions for global brands. Earlier experience includes roles as Account Manager and Account Executive at USP Content and USP CONTENT LIMITED. Sam holds a Master of Arts in English Literature and a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) in English with Film Studies from the University of Exeter.
