Imogen Joss completed their Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Arabic and Islamic Studies from the University of Exeter, where they studied from 1979 to 1983. In 2016, they also obtained a Non Executive Diploma in Board Governance from the Financial Times NED Diploma program.
