Rei Ito has a diverse work experience, primarily focused in finance and accounting roles. They began their career as a Senior Assurance Associate at MGO (Macias Gini & O'Connell LLP) in 2006 and stayed there until 2012. Following that, they joined the Los Angeles LGBT Center as an Assistant Controller for five years. In 2017, Rei joined Sim as a Data Analyst/Master Data Management/ERP System Implementation specialist for a year. They then moved to Netflix and held three different positions in Studio Operations Accounting, Studio Operations Finance & Technology, and Finance Operations Transformation, respectively. Lastly, in 2023, Rei was appointed as the VP of Client Services at IQ BackOffice.

Rei Ito holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with an Option in Accounting from California State University, Los Angeles. They also have an inactive Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification from the California Board of Accountancy.
