James Wheatley has extensive work experience in the field of product management and telecommunications. James is currently the Head of Product Management at IQGeo since 2022. Prior to their current role, they worked at GE Digital as a Product Line Manager for Telecommunications from 2014 to 2022. Before that, they were a Product Manager at GE from 2003 to 2013. James began their career at Smallworld in 1998, where they held roles as a Services Engineer and later as a Pre-sales Consultant. James'sresponsibilities at Smallworld included business analysis, subject matter expertise, and software development.
James Wheatley obtained their BSc in Surveying & Mapping Science from Newcastle University between 1991 and 1995. Subsequently, they pursued their PhD in Geomatics at the same university from 1995 to 1998.
