Steve Tongish has a wealth of experience in marketing and leadership roles. Steve served as the CMO (Chief Marketing Officer) at IQGeo from January 2019 to present, where they oversaw the development and implementation of geospatial software solutions for telecoms and utility network operators. Prior to that, they held the same position at Ubisense from August 2018 to December 2018, where they focused on offering location intelligence solutions to various industries. From May 2016 to July 2018, Steve was the CMO at RealVNC, specializing in secure screen-sharing software. Steve also worked as the Vice President of Marketing at AVEVA Solutions Ltd. from February 2010 to February 2016, leading a global team and managing all marketing activities. Before that, they were the Global Marketing Director at QStar Technologies from February 2009 to February 2010, where they coordinated marketing activities and supported channel programs. Steve also served as the Marketing Director EMEA at Plasmon from November 2002 to November 2008, managing marketing activities throughout the territory.

Beyond their marketing roles, Steve worked as a Senior Technology and Business Consultant at GOA AG from February 2002 to November 2002, focusing on customer consultation and business development. Steve also held the position of Senior Director of Product Management at The Fantastic Corporation from January 2000 to February 2002, leading a team and managing software application products. Additionally, Steve worked as the Marketing Director Storage Solutions at DICOM from October 1995 to December 1999, where they established a storage and data management business unit. Steve started their career as the Director of European Marketing at EMASS / AAP from January 1993 to October 1995, overseeing product management and developing indirect channel partnerships.

Steve Tongish attended Cherry Creek High School from 1976 to 1979. Following this, they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Architectural/Civil Engineering at the University of Colorado Boulder from 1979 to 1983.
