Lily Yang

Lily Yang has a diverse background in research and engineering. Lily is currently working at IQM Quantum Computers as the Quality Control and Metrology Lead, a role they started in May 2020. Prior to that, they worked briefly as a Process Engineer at the same company. From 2016 to 2020, Lily was a Researcher at KTH Royal Institute of Technology. Lily was also a Postdoctoral Researcher at TU Delft from 2014 to 2016. Before that, they served as an NRC Research Associate at Naval Research Laboratory from 2011 to 2014. Lily started their career as an Intern at Senergen Devices in 2009 and Novellus in 2007. Lily also worked as a Graduate Student Researcher at the University of California from 2006 to 2007 and as a Faculty Research Assistant at the University of Maryland from 2001 to 2002.

Lily Yang has a strong background in physics. Lily obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Physics from Swarthmore College, graduating in 2001. Lily then pursued further education and earned their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Physics from the University of California, Santa Cruz in 2010. Prior to their undergraduate studies, they attended Arcadia High School from 1995 to 1997 and Temple City High School from 1994 to 1995.
