Ugur Yilmaz is a Senior Quantum Device Design Engineer at IQM Quantum Computers since January 2022, previously engaging in postdoctoral research in superconducting electronics at Laboratoire IMEP-LAHC from July 2020 to January 2022. Ugur's academic journey includes a PhD focused on superconducting circuit design at CNES and experience as a software and IC test and verification engineer at Sydelity. Early career roles involved internships in mixed signal design at ON Semiconductor and digital design at CNRS - ICube Laboratory, coupled with entrepreneurial experience in IT repair and tutoring in mathematics, physics, and chemistry. Ugur holds a PhD in Superconducting Mixed Signal Electronics from Université Savoie Mont Blanc and degrees in Micro and Nano Electronics and Fundamental Physics from the University of Strasbourg.
