Walter Eikenboom

Walter Eikenboom has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Walter started their career as a Consultant/Trainer at De Goudse, where they designed the architecture for LOB monitoring and trained the Operations team on SCOM 2007. Walter then moved on to KPN as a Senior Technical Consultant, designing and building SCOM 2007 R2 and implementing ACS for KPN ITNL.

Afterwards, Walter worked as a Principal Technical Consultant at AEGON, where they conducted Microsoft Office document risk assessments and assisted in migrating to a new Office version. Walter then joined Hogeschool INHOLLAND as a Lead Architect, leading a team in creating a functional Windows 7 design based on user requirements.

Walter also gained experience at Getronics Consulting as a Senior Technical Consultant, specializing in Microsoft System Center and hybrid cloud solutions. Walter later became a Principal Consultant at inovativ, focusing on infrastructure optimization and consulting on proactive and automated infrastructure management.

In 2014, Walter served as an Information Security Officer at Vopak before becoming the Owner/Consultant at Inquirendum, a private investigation and digital forensics bureau. Recently, they have been working as an Operations Manager at IRECKONU, a full-service organization providing end-to-end management for Line of business applications and developing data-driven software.

Throughout their career, Walter has also been an accomplished public speaker, delivering presentations and workshops on various topics related to infrastructure management, Windows, System Center, and cloud solutions.

Walter Eikenboom attended Hogeschool van Arnhem en Nijmegen (HAN) from 2000 to 2004, where they earned a degree in Electronics. The degree they obtained from HAN is Ing. (B.ENG).
