Geoffrey Nduati Njogu is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in security and technology roles. Currently serving as the Security and Privacy Lead at Irembo since October 2021, Geoffrey has held various positions including Senior Application Security Engineer and Security Engineer. Prior to this, Geoffrey was a Research Associate at Carnegie Mellon University Africa, contributing to infrastructure and workforce development while developing picoCTF challenges and conducting training sessions. Additional experience includes roles as a Graduate Teaching Assistant, IT Support Specialist, and Research and Development Associate at East African Power, where optimizations for hydropower projects were made. Geoffrey holds a Master’s degree in Information Technology from Carnegie Mellon University Africa and a Bachelor's degree in Applied Mathematics and Computer Science from Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology.
