Maynard Porter

Maynard Porter currently serves as the Director of Government Positioning, Navigation, and Timing at Iridium, focusing on business development within the U.S. PNT Division since April 2024. Prior to this role, Maynard held significant positions including Director of National Defense and Security Solutions and Senior Account Manager at Satelles, and served as a Space Acquisition Subject Matter Expert at SAIC, supporting multiple high-profile defense programs. Maynard's extensive military background includes leadership roles in the United States Air Force, where a range of responsibilities included managing multi-million dollar electronic warfare programs, development of national space strategies, and mentoring Afghan Special Security Forces in acquisition processes. Maynard holds a Master of Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the Air Force Institute of Technology and a Master of Arts in Strategic Security Studies from the National Defense University, along with a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Rutgers University.
