Nick Stranges, P. Eng. currently serves as a Rotating Machines Engineer at IRIS POWER LP - A QUALITROL COMPANY since April 2021. Previous experience includes roles as an Electrical Engineer at Andritz Hydro from October 2018 to April 2021 and a Principal Engineer - Electromagnetics at GE Power Conversion from September 1996 to September 2018, where additional titles included Senior Electrical Engineer and Electromagnetics Specialist. From January 2005 to June 2009, Nick held the position of Assistant Adjunct Professor in Electrical Engineering at McMaster University, also serving as a Teaching Assistant from September 1990 to April 1996. Early career experiences included various electrical engineering internships with companies such as Dofasco, Ontario Hydro, and the National Research Council Canada. Academic credentials include a Doctor of Philosophy in Electrical Engineering, a Master of Engineering, and a Bachelor of Engineering, all from McMaster University, as well as a High School Diploma from NFCVI.
