Laura Hanratty has a strong background in the alcoholic beverage industry, specifically in the marketing and brand management of whiskies. Laura began their career in 2006 as an Assistant Brand Manager for Jameson at Pernod Ricard USA. Laura then moved to Pernod Ricard UK where they continued to work as an Assistant Brand Manager for Jameson. In 2009, they became an Area Manager at Chivas Brothers Pernod Ricard, before being promoted to Global Brand Manager for Chivas Regal in 2011. Laura then worked as a Global Senior Brand Manager at Chivas Brothers before becoming a Global Marketing Manager for Chivas Regal in 2014. Their responsibilities included managing the Ultra-Premium/Prestige portfolio for Chivas Regal across all marketing touch-points. In 2019, they joined Chivas Brothers as the Global Head of Brand for The Glenlivet and Single Malts Portfolio, leading the global strategy, communications, content, and digital agenda for these brands. Later in 2019, they also became the Global Head of Prestige and Speciality Brands at Irish Distillers.
Laura Hanratty completed a BA International degree in Language from UCD - University College Dublin from 2002 to 2006. Laura went on to pursue an MSc in International Business Development from DIT - Dublin Institute of Technology, completing it from 2009 to 2011.

Formed in 1966, Irish Distillers was born when a merger took place between John Power & Son, John Jameson & Son and Cork Distilleries Company. In 1988, Irish Distillers joined Pernod Ricard, gaining access to unprecedented levels of investment and an extensive global distribution network. Since 2012, we have invested over €250m to double our production and bottling capacity to meet global demand for our products. Our portfolio of whiskeys is produced at Midleton Distillery, Co. Cork, where we push the boundaries of Irish whiskey production.
