David Hansson

David Hansson is an experienced technology leader currently serving as Vice President of R&D at Irisity since October 2022, where responsibilities include leading a geographically distributed team in the development of an AI video surveillance platform, emphasizing autonomy, innovation, and collaboration. Prior to Irisity, David held significant roles at Ericsson, including Manager of User Plane Development, where oversight was given to cross-functional teams focused on advancing 5G technologies, and various positions in product management and solution architecture, with a concentration on IoT and connected vehicle solutions. David's expertise also includes a tenure at Volvo Cars as a Senior Solution Architect, focusing on cloud application development for connected car technologies. David holds a BS in Computer Science from Chalmers University of Technology and has foundational education from Luleå University of Technology.
