Matthew Evon, MBA

Matthew Evon, MBA has over a decade of experience working in finance and operations management roles for the United States Department of Defense and more recently, as Director of Finance at Iron EagleX, Inc. At Iron EagleX, they are responsible for overseeing the financial planning and accounting operations while providing strategic input on the best path of growth for the business. In their previous role with the Defense Department, they held a high-level position as Deputy Controller where they supervised four divisions and a Joint Military Command of over 4k members with an annual budget of $2B+. Matthew also led the transformation of the command's legacy finance system to a modern-day SAP ERP system. Prior to that, they held various positions such as Director of Finance, Detachment Cdr / Director, and Disbursing Officer with increasing responsibilities, including programming, planning, budgeting, and executing classified funding portfolios, managing large treasury operations, and reporting up to the highest levels of military and governmental interagency.

Matthew Evon, MBA has a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from Maranatha Baptist University from 2005-2009. Matthew later earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from Webster University from 2014-2016. In 2017, they attended Boston University, where they completed another MBA program in Entrepreneurship, Strategy, and Innovation from 2017-2019.
