Stephanie Volk

Stephanie Volk has a diverse work experience spanning various roles in the venture capital, energy, and education sectors. Stephanie is currently the Head of Platform at Ironspring Ventures, where they started in December 2022.

Prior to that, Stephanie worked at the National Venture Capital Association from February 2018 to December 2022, serving as the Vice President of Industry Engagement. In this role, they were responsible for managing member engagement, recruitment, and retention, as well as leading corporate venture network activities and ecosystem relationships. Stephanie also supported brand development and communications initiatives.

Before joining the National Venture Capital Association, Stephanie worked at GE Ventures as the Manager of Commercial Development from June 2014 to September 2017. Stephanie also gained experience at GE through the Experienced Commercial Leadership Program from July 2012 to July 2014.

Stephanie's earlier experiences include working as an MBA Summer Project Manager at PG&E in 2011, a Summer Associate at Clean Energy Coalition in 2010, a Business Development Intern at the New York City Economic Development Corporation in 2009, and as the Deputy Communications Director at the New York City Department of Education from 2007 to 2009.

Stephanie Volk completed their education at various institutions. Stephanie first attended Wayland High School, details of which have not been provided. From 2002 to 2006, they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Political Science at Columbia University. Following this, they enrolled at the University of Michigan, where they simultaneously pursued two degrees. From 2009 to 2012, Stephanie obtained a Master's degree in Urban Planning with a specialization in Economic Development. In addition, they also completed an MBA at the University of Michigan's Stephen M. Ross School of Business from 2010 to 2012, with a focus on General Management and Marketing.
